Where should we go for a great beach holiday this summer in NSW?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under beach holiday | 10 Comments »

We still want to be close to restaurants and nightlife. We are aged between 25-30yrs old so need a good variety of things to do & see as well as swimming, snorkelling and surfing.

For beautiful beaches and great nightlife you have to go to Byron Bay – quite a way north from Sydney but worth visiting at least once. Closer to Sydney Newcastle has great beaches, Terrigal on the Central Coast has beautiful beaches and would have some nightlife but not as much choice as the main cities.

If you are not from Sydney why dont you stay in Bondi or Coogee spectacular swimming and plenty of pubs and restaurants.

i need some ideas for a beach room? please help. i already have sand color paint help please thank you alot?

yes. i do have paint a sand texture and sand color. I need decoration ideas. help thank you very much

Depends on which room it is…

For a bathroom, I found these cute accessories, fixtures and cabinet hardware: http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.j…
You can also pick up shells on the beach, clean them out well (soak them in water for a few days) and super glue them around your bathroom mirror to create a "beachy" border.

For a kids’ room, paint a mural on the wall. They sell "paint by number" mural kits and it’s easier to do than you would think. I have painted several murals in my daughter’s room and they turn out great and are very original.

For an adult bedroom, I would get a ceiling fan with the blades shaped like palms, white flowy curtains that look like clouds and some pale blue paint for the walls. Get some decor that is beachy (i.e. a vase filled with shells) and some beach artwork.

I need help creating a beach retreat in my bedroom!?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under beach cottages | 3 Comments »

I would like to have a beach cottage theme in my bedroom. I like the colors blue and light, butter yellow. My walls are white now, but money is tight. Any ideas are considered. Thank you!

If you can afford to paint, you might put that cheery buttery yellow on he walls.

If your furniture is dark, a white bedspread or coverlet would look light and airy and fresh. You could add some throw pillows in shades of blue and yellows. Look for a pretty light blue or yellow area rug for the floor.

A white wicker chair (could be spray-painted) in a corner would be the perfect place for a reading nook. Add a skirted table (blue or yellow) and some beach-y accessories such as a basket or bowl of shells or white coral, etc.

Ask home improvement stores for old wallpaper sample books. Use the pages in the colors you like to cover a few hardback books. Stack on a nightstand or a table.

Add billowy light curtains to the windows to let in lots of fresh air and sunshine.

Get rid of anything dark and heavy in color or texture. Go for light and natural.

Check out thrift stoares for prints in beach or water scenes. You can always re-finish the frame in white or go for a distressed look.

In GTA-VC why does the small point of house located at ocean beach never move away from the map?

I tried to look for a lot of things in the house located at ocean beach but i could not find any things. Are there any missions or any things we have to collect from there?

It is just to show you where your save point is! There is a mission or two that start there, but when they are active you will see the pink marker that you walk into to start the mission.

Can you recommend websites for timeshares/rentals/condos in Myrtle Beach SC?

I’d like to compare the cost of a hotel or resort to renting a house or condo. Thank you!

Try http://www.visitmyrtlebeach.com/stay/ – they have almost every hotel / resort / vacation rental company listed from North to South Myrtle Beach.

does anyone knows how to get to the nudist beach up in placerville CA?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under nudist beach | 3 Comments »

I’ve heard I take I-50 to placerville, but I don’t know the exit. hope to hear from you soon.

There are several possibilities to consider. Maybe you were thinking of Laguna Del Sol Nudist resort. See link below.

Rangers from the California State department of Parks have stated that nude bathing on the American River is banned.

There a couple of private nudist beaches on the lakes just north of Placerville. I think you should search for nudist organizations, or ask at the Laguna Del Sol Nudist Resort for info.

Beach Vacation Spots in the Northeast?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under beach vacation | 4 Comments »

I live in New Jersey. I am looking to find a nice young, hip vacation spot within a four hour drive from my state. We thought over the idea of Connecticut but I am not really too familiar with their beaches. Are the hotels affordable in the Summer there? Any ideas regarding spots that would offer us nightlife, beaches and clean, affordable hotels? Ocean City, MD has extremely expensive hotel rates and Virginia Beach is too far a drive. Any suggestions would help immensely.
I’ve been nearly everywhere in NJ. We’re trying to get away. I live on the shore as well so getting away from it would be a break.

misquamicut in Rhode island. Its an actual "beach" as opposed to the Long Island Sound beaches of CT. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around there, and its only a half hour or 45 minutes from the casinos too.

If you go to Mystic, CT, you’ll probably have a good time too. I think it’s not a real party spot, but there’s a seaport with a ton of stores and a huge aquarium.

Or take a ride up to Newport, RI. There’s a lot to do there, and depending on where in NJ you are, it’s probably a 3 1/2 to 6 hour drive.
