Is there a way to get to Disney World (florida) from a nearby non-disney beach resorts?

Hey! I was wondering if there are any beach resorts that you would recommend in Florida (but not to far away from Disney) or any florida areas you love. Is there a shuttle bus, train or any other means of transportation to Disney from non-disney resorts? thanks!

feel free to leave links to your questions- i’ll answer them!

The closest beach to Disney World is about an hour away (Cocoa Beach). Transportation would be very expensive between there and Disney World. If you are only wanting to visit Disney World for one day then you would do best to just rent a car for the day. However, if you are planning on visiting Disney World and/or other Orlando theme parks for several days during your vacation, then you should really stay in the Orlando area (if Disney World is your primary focus then staying in a Disney World resort is very beneficial, particularly if you are looking to go without renting a car). You can always stay in Orlando for a few days and then drive to a beach resort and stay for a few days.

Orlando is in the middle of the state. There aren’t any beaches near WDW.

There are area hotels that have shuttles, but beach resorts are nowhere near Disney. Orlando is about an hour from the nearest beach. So no, I don’t know of any hotels on a beach that would drive a free shuttle all the way to Orlando. You would be better off to spend a couple of days at the beach, then move to a hotel in Orlando for the Disney part of your vacation.

Just rent a car for a couple days, orlando rates are some of the cheapest in the nation. Cocoa beach is due east (on the Beachline…aka as 528), like the above answer says it is about an hour (45 mins how I drive…lol)…there is no mass transit available, btw the west coast is only an hour and half away from disney…if you decide on that for some reason i suggest st. pete beach
