I want a 3 – 4 day trip where I’m in the sun and have access to a beach. I want to pay less than $500 (including airfare). Suggestions?
I live in Philly and willing to travel anywhere.
Well it depends on where you live. Airfare from Atlanta to Miami is $240. Airfare from Montana to Miami is $600. I could say "Florida", but if you live in Montana then it obviously won’t be cheaper than $500.
….all depends on where you live.
You failed to mention which country and or state you live in, so can’t answer that.
Thanks for the thumbs down genius. Lets put it like this:
If you said you lived in San Francisco, I would recommend going to Santa Cruz since its only a half hour away and would cost less than $500. However, if you said you lived in Kentucky, that would be more than $500 to get to the beach and stay there for 4 days. If you lived in North Carolina, I would recommend Virginia Beach. If you said you lived in India, I would say you could go to Thailand for less than $500, however, if you said you lived in Russia, I would have to recommend China’s beaches.
How are we supposed to know where you can go for less than $500, if we don’t know where you are? Country and State is needed to answer the question.

I agree with Man. You should say where you are so airfare and things can be calculated.
edit:
There’s no way you can have a 3 or 4 day trip from Philly with only $500 unless you count the jersey/new york shoreline as the beach.

Fly to Atlanta or Jacksonville, then head to Jekyll Island, one of the Golden Isles off the Georgia Coast. They really know how to do Christmas. The famous Historic District is ablaze with lights, and they have tours of all the historic buildings, each decorated with historically accurate themes from the late 1800′s and early 1900′s.
Stay at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, former clubhouse to old-time millionaires, now renovated and open to the public (and haunted, too, if you believe the rumors…).
The entire month of December is devoted to celebration. That’s why Jekyll Island is known as Holiday Island during this time.
There’s also plenty of other stuff to do, like ride bikes, visit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, kayak, fish, play golf or tennis, walk on their 10 miles of wide, flat beaches…wish I could go with you!
