How will you respond if your friend tells you he is a nudist and goes to nudist beach?

Nudism is about de-stressing, relaxing, and returning to innocence. It’s not about seeing or being seen. It’s about accepting yourself and others for who you are, how you act, and what you say rather than what you look like own or wear. It’s the great human equalizer.

I’ve been a nudist for more than 40 of my 64 years and am acquainted with more than 50 parks, clubs, resorts, and beaches.

I’d say great to hear that you’re part of a wonderful group of folk.

Go to a nudist beach and experience nudity in a non sexual context. Stop limiting your exposure to nudity that’s exclusively sexual in context (So that means stop using the media – both print and video and the film industry as your sole means of experiencing nudity). A mans arousal at a nudist beach is a Pavlovian response to the classical conditioning that occurs in our society with regard to nudity. Once you immerse yourself in a real nudist/naturist environment it only takes about 10 minutes to break that conditioning. I like to say that it only takes 10 minutes of truth to undo a lifetime of lies.

Once your ‘sergeant’ gets some real battlefield experience he’ll learn when its appropriate to lock and load and when to shoulder arms.

Arousal is not a common problem on nudist beaches. I’ve never seen it or stood to attention myself. The social context does not lend itself to arousal. You are just a bunch of strangers with no clothes on, some old, some young, some fat, some thin, some male, some female, some clean shaven, some natural, some bearing the marks of childbirth or surgery … but all of them just people feeling the liberation of being naked in the sun and breeze. If anything, on nudist beaches, you find social conventions a little more conservative than you might elsewhere. You don’t stare but you do tend to look people in the face when talking to them. Anyone who goes to nudist beach for voyeuristic purposes would not be welcome.

There are exceptions that are causing more and more nudist beaches to be closed to the public and that involves a small minority of gay men who like to have casual sex in the dunes and bushes behind some nudist beaches. Sadly, they are costing us our valuable beaches but this is the exception rather than the rule.

The best thing about nudist beaches apart from the sense of freedom is the fact that loud show-offs tend not to go there. There is something quietly mature and mutually respectful about nudists … and not one stiffy between them.

im staying at the princess of mykonos hotel and I prefer to get naked and party. would it be difficult to get to super paradise beach? what other gay nudist beache are there?

If you’ve never been to a nudist beach before, here are a few guidelines:
•Gawking is impolite. If you want to go to the nudist beach for a thrill, do everyone a favor and buy a magazine instead.

•Ask for people’s consent before taking their photograph nude.

•If you’re sunbathing nude in a secluded area, leave a bathing suit on a rock to let others know they are approaching an unclothed person. If you’re uncomfortable having your suit out of reach, bring a spare.

•On a wide open beach, position yourself in the open so you can see people coming and put something on before they get there if you need to.

•Get dressed before you leave the nudist beach.

•Be friendly, but respect others’ rights to privacy.

•Avoid sexual activity. It’s illegal and offensive.

•Advances of an unwelcome or unwanted nature are not acceptable anywhere, and especially at a nudist beach.

•Be Prepared. Sometimes, the nudist beach doesn’t have any amenities. Bring water, food, towel, sunscreen and anything else you need.

•Keep the nudist beach clean. If you carried it in, carry it back out.

Do you think it’s strange for a woman to wear a scarf and cover up her body with islamic clothing and then go for a walk with her fully clothed boyfriend on a secluded nudist beach? Is that hypocritical that her and her boyfriend are clothed and looking at naked bodies?
This is not hypothetical, it did happen.

It is hypocritical. A religious couple has no business to go to a nudist beach. I’ll let you connect the dots here.
