Are there any quiet ocean beach areas near San Francisco ?

I am trying to plan a trip to San Francisco to visit my brother and to get some quiet beach time with my family. Is there any nice quiet beach areas fairly close to San Francisco?

Ocean beach can be quiet during the weekdays…. or you can try half moon bay or pacifica.

    Most of the beaches in SF are kind of quiet as unless it is sunny and warm, the beaches are just that. Kind of quiet. Ocean Beach is the big beach. Baker Beach is maybe more scenic and quiet. China Beach is a very small cove that is usually really quiet. You can go up to Marin and get pretty darn secluded on the beach. Or head south of SF to Montara for some good spots too.
