Name the prettiest coastal town in southern California that just isn’t some hide-away for the rich, who hog most of the ocean front with their mansions that block the public view of the Pacific. The village/town has to be pretty and picturesque too, not some beach slum.
San Clemente. Very nice town. Beautiful rolling hills along the coast. (it’s roughly half way between Los Angeles, and San Diego). Former President Nixon’s "western White House" was located there.
It would remind you of a small coastal town in Ireland.
