what is the closest ocean beach to indiana?

I live in indiana, looking for the closest ocean beach to vacation with my family

Some where on the New Jersey shore. I would choose Wildwood. I Loved it there when I lived in Jersey. The Cape May Ferry boat across the bay to Delaware is fun for all ages. It’s right near Wildwood at the tip of Jersey.

    I love the ocean but Lake Michigan is just as good but not salty when you go swimming. Just Drive to South Haven MI and go to the North Beach….Too cold today. If you are dead set on the Ocean, go to Ocean City Maryland and the island state park just south of there.
