What are some nice places in Maine for a family beach vacation?

My family wants to go to a beach location in Maine for vacation. We’re all adults, so we just want a tranquil area with not too many other people around, especially not too many kids. Ideally it should be within walking distance of a town with restaurants, shopping etc. though, or at least within a 15 min drive. We’ll probably want to rent a beach cottage or something for 4-7 nights. Any general suggestions on what towns/areas to look at, or specific suggestions of beaches/cottages to stay at?

The nudist beaches are the best, and are frequented by a variety of families with lots of kids on weekends, but not as many kids during the week.

(b) What level of sales is needed for a monthly profit of $24,000?
(c) For the month of July, the company anticipates sales of $240,000. What is the expected level of profit?

a. BEP = FC/CM
BEP = 79200/(1-0.52)
BEP = 165,000

b. Projected sales = FC + 24000/CM
Projected sales = 215,000

c. 240,000 x 0.48 – 79,200 = 36,000

What are some good beach vacation spots on the eastern coast?

We want to plan a little vacation and we’re not sure where to go. We already know about all the main ones (Outerbanks, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, Myrtle Beach, and of course the main beach cities in Florida).. but are there any other really nice beach towns that aren’t perhaps as highly visited? We’re trying to watch our budget as well and if you can offer any accomodation suggestions that would be great!

I would like to suggest either Oak Island, Ocracoke Island or Holden Beach. Technically Ocracoke is part of the Outer Banks but it is really a destination unto itself. Very nice beaches! They are totally unspoiled b/c they are part of the national park system and hence, free from commercial development. Check it out:

Cheaper but good beach resorts in Malaysia?

Hubby and I have a chance to fly to Kuala Lumpa for a good price in August. We plan to spend a few days in KL, then go to some lovely beach resort in Malaysia. I’ve never been there, and have no idea which places are nice, but not too expensive. We just want somewhere romantic, where we can swim in the ocean, and with alot of culture, but which won’t cost the earth, as we are on a very limited budget. Can anybody give me any suggestions? Thanks.

These are some of the resorts worth mentioning; Langkawi Island – many budget chalets, lovely white sandy beaches, interesting culture, lots to do. Redang Island – One of the Top Ten in the world, crystal clear waters, lovely marine life, cheap budget accomadations, marine parks. Pulau Hentian – small but lovely Island just beside Redang Island. Good beach to visit for this summer’s vacation?

My teenage daughter wants to vacation on a beach somewhere. We aren’t rich, but we’d enjoy some fun in the sun without spending too much. Any good suggestions on a beach vacation with dining/shopping/attractions nearby?

Any of the beaches on Cape Cod should be nice, the ones on Cape Cod National Seashore will be the best, especially Coast Guard Beach in Eastham
You won’t be too far from P-Town which is a pretty cool town ( and has some excellent beaches of it’s own)

Hey I am trying to gget some info on what places that you have been internationally that it was pretty much the status quo for guys to wear speedos. i am taking a beach vacation next year and I would really like to try my speedo out on the beach!! haha

sri lanka is a nice place to travel. Because there are lots of thing and places to watch in a small island,if you gone a start from Colombo u can travel to any direction in around two,three hours by a vehicle.

What is the best beach holiday not far away from UK?

A beautiful and peaceful beach holiday location, not very touristy, nice and quiet is what I am looking for. If possible can you suggest what is the best place to stay there as well?
Max 4-5 hrs flight

Egypt is about your best bet or if your budget will strtch to it then Dubai. Neither are all that unless you pay for the very best, but you are guaranteed the good weather.
